London's oldest and only remaining leather bar. Great staff who are incredibly friendly. good atmosphere and always fun to visit

This place attracts a very friendly crowd, isn't too loud and has really reasonable bar prices with efficient and no nonsense service. The venue does have a strict dress code but has a changing area if you are into stuff that you don't feel comfortable walking on the street in (though it's London, most people don't give a damn). Clientele is very varied from early 20s up to 70s+ and everyone seems to be made welcome. Love that the music isn't too loud and it's not really a dancing club. It has an industrial theme to it with lots of bare concrete and dark little corners. Also has a smoking area out back which seems popular.

London's only true fetish bar left. Very reasonable drinks prices. Located right on Mile End tube stop. Decor hasn't changed or been revamped since the 80s. Very run down in places but sleazy.

Cant fault the place. The staff are always pleasant, and have the venue for the people not the money. I've been going there for over 10 years and would highly reccomend it. In the last year or so its been picking up more than ever!

The proper Backstreet nights which John the owner hosts catering for the leather and rubber scene are really good, and I would always recommend them. Really sleazy venue which hasn't changed much from the 80's. Not many of these venues left in London, so enjoy it while it lasts, especially with other venues closing and if you are into leather and rubber. But avoid Buff/ClubCP naked nights. The doorman/coat check is really grumpy and unhelpful. If you ask him any reasonable question his stock response is "How long is a piece of string." Hmm very helpful, NOT! Then he wanders off sulking, like a 'moon faced frog scouring the club for chicken' of which there is none! Really nice bar boy who is either in leather/rubber or naked. Update: Just noticed "Mr Grumpy" is in fact Alan who is writing his own reviews below. Scammer!

The venues in this list have been curated by BLUF members, and we believe them all to be welcoming of men in leather uniform. However, note that in some cases, dresscode may only be approriate on certain nights. If in doubt, check with a venue before travelling.

We make every effort to keep the information on this page up to date. Please let us know of any errors or omissions.

In some cases, you may see more restrictive opening times listed in BLUF information than in information from Google. Where this is the case, it may mean that a place operates as a leather or dresscode bar only during the hours we have noted.

When you use location-based functions on this page, you location is not sent to BLUF, and is not stored by us.
