BLUF LTD

On January 26th, 2016, BLUF LTD was officially incorporated as company in England and Wales as a company Limited by Guarantee, with the registration number 09969986.

By registering BLUF as a company, we aim to have a more official structure, so that BLUF can pay bills in its own right, and with greater transparency than in the past. It provides a degree of protection that ensures if something happens to the administrative team, the site can continue to operate. BLUF Ltd manages and operates BLUF.com, and owns the BLUF assets, including the logo. From time to time, the Directors of BLUF Ltd may grant limited permission to use the BLUF name or logo, or appoint other persons to manage the website, in accordance with the Company's regulations.

The key aims of BLUF LTD, as defined in our Articles of Association are:

• 3.1.2 to support, maintain and further develop the web site and apps of the Breeches and Leather Uniform Fanclub;
• 3.1.3 to hold in trust the assets of the Breeches and Leather Uniform Fanclub;
• 3.1.4 to raise monies for the purposes of items 3.1.1, 3.1.2, 3.1.3;
• 3.1.5 where deemed appropriate by the Director, to support and/or campaign for the needs of members of the Breeches and Leather Uniform Fanclub and of the wider gay leather community;

The term 'BLUF member' or 'Membership of BLUF' in common usage refers only to a person with an account on BLUF.com. It should not be taken to mean that a person is a member of BLUF Ltd in the legal sense defined by the Companies Act. The process of 'Joining BLUF' refers solely to the application for an account on BLUF.com
