Celebrate the art of bootblacking with this Manchester weekend, inlcuding play party, fetish market, and the UK Bootblack Contest 2024.
The UK Bootblack Contest is a non-gendered contest for all levels of ability that aims to showcase the talents of the diverse community of bootblacks we have in the UK, looking at all aspects of what bootblacking is and can be, from technical aspects, passion, service and heart and sole.
The event kicks off with a Friday night party at Sub 101, from 7pm to 3am; the contestants will be on hand to shine your boots, so you can help judge their skills, and see the current UK Bootblack stand down. There's bar, and play areas with equipment from Bear Bite Bondage.
On Saturday from 1pm to 7pm, come along to the fetish market at Cruz101, for a bit of kinky Xmas shopping, from a range of creative queer vendors. There'll be more bootblacking, and the announcement of the winner at 6pm.
Wrap the weekend up with Sunday brunch at 11am, at Moose Coffee.
