#Gear365 is an initiative to help men worldwide get their gear out of their closets, get it on to their bodies and out into the streets in everyday life. This is done by resolving to wear some form of gear every single day for one year.

At first, that may seem like a daunting task, but let me ask;

• Are you a man who feels wearing leather, rubber, uniforms, military gear or sports gear provides a sense of completion on sexual, emotional and spiritual levels?
• Has the mere thought of suiting up in gear ever caused your heart to race?
• Does wearing gear feel like a second skin?

If you answered yes to any of those questions, then all the #Gear365 challenge asks of you is to embrace that part of yourself every day and share in it with others.

No matter who you are or what you are into, finding acceptance, embracing our sexuality and finding the courage to explore our deep gear fetishes is a lifelong journey. It is much easier to live your authentic life when you know that the world is filled with men embarking on the same journey as yourself.

How do I participate

• Wear anything that constitutes as ‘gear’ to you. It can be as simple or complex as you like. It can be worn for a whole day or for just a few moments. Just gear up!
• Post photos or videos of yourself in gear on social media using hashtag ‘gear365’. The more men who post about wearing their gear with this hashtag, the easier it will be for men across the globe to find the confidence to wear their gear
  If you do not wish to post photos of yourself online, that is perfectly alright. The most important aspect of this is to get you into gear and to feel proud of who you are!

If you’re shy about getting started, search ‘#gear365’ on Facebook, Instagram, Tumblr, YouTube and you will see that there are already hundreds of posts from men who are finding the courage and pride to wear their gear every single day. I want you to join us.

How realistic is it?

It does not have to be complicated – and it is much easier to wear every day that you might think. Let me help ease some of the most common apprehensions.

“I don’t have the gear.”

You do not have to have the perfect leather uniform to participate. Wear what you do have! A pair of sexy underwear, a jock strap, a pair of boots or sneakers, a pair of gloves, a chain, a hat. The list is endless and simple because you can wear anything that constitutes gear to you!

“I don’t have the time. I don’t have the place.”

We all have to balance careers, responsibilities and social lives; so, keep it as simple as grabbing a favorite jacket, a pair of boots or gloves on your way out the door. You can also wear something small and discrete throughout your day like a jock strap, sexy underwear or a wrist band. Or unwind from your busy day just before bed with a pair of gloves or a hood kept on your nightstand. Then, when you have the time and place, enjoy the sensation of wearing a full leather BLUF uniform or being sealed head-to-toe in rubber.

“I’m too shy to wear gear in public.”

For some of us, wearing day gear items (jackets, gloves, boots, hats) in public causes fear because we’re afraid people will uncover a deep part of ourselves we may not ready to share with the world just yet. I know, because I too struggled with this. The #Gear365 challenge is meant to help you overcome this fear and realize you are not alone!

There are simple gear items you can wear and fit right into the crowd; a leather jacket, leather gloves, boots, shoes, wristbands – ordinary things people wear out and about every day. Others have taken a more erotic approach; wearing leather or rubber under their everyday clothes.

The globe is filled with men, just like you, who took those first steps out of the house wearing something simple and realized much of the fear was built up in our own heads, when in reality, you’re just wearing everyday outerwear. Now, it’s your turn to take the first step and turn that fear into an incredible feeling of empowerment. You CAN do this!

“I’ll probably fall off the wagon, so I won’t bother.”

Life happens to all of us. Some days are much harder than others. If you miss a day, a week, a month, your gear and your gear brothers aren’t going anywhere. Tomorrow is a new day, and we will be right here waiting for you to gear up with us.

The impact

We may never meet face-to-face or speak the same language, but by sharing our daily gear experiences with one another, we discover that we’re a part of a deep, historic and primal brotherhood… and furthermore, what an incredible honour it is to be a part of it! The more you dive into this experience, the more you’ll come to understand that our gear fetish brotherhood intimately connects us with a chosen family of incredible, talented, kindhearted men from every corner of the Earth. That is a gift that is almost as wonderful as coming to love and appreciate you who are and what you’re into with pride.
