To become a member of BLUF you'll need to upload some photos of you in gear, to show that you understand our dresscode, plus an additional photo to verify your identity. We'll also need to know which country you're in, and what name you want to use on the site. You must have a working email address, as the first stage of the application sends you a unique link that you'll need to click on to continue with your application.
BLUF is one of the world's biggest communities for men into leather uniforms, with members in dozens of countries and around 100 events every year. Joining BLUF gives you access to our whole site, where you can meet other guys seriously into leather, create a profile, and become part of our community. The site is completely free to use and open to those who comply with the dresscode, and agree to our rules. However, we encourage members to support us with donations, in return for which they receive a BLUF Card, entitling them to discounts at a range of stores.
The full dresscode is here. This is the quick summary. Your application email will include detailed guidance.
To make the application process as simple as possible, we have made this section of the BLUF site available in additional languages. We hope that, in particular, this adds extra clarity to the rules and dresscode.
Although the online application form is available in more languages, the main BLUF website is presently only available in four: English, German, French and Spanish.
Please note that we reserve the right to verify your age as part of your application. Read more here.
To start your application, just enter your email address in the box below and click the button. Make sure you look out for an email from email@example.com - check your spam folder if you don't find it. The email will include a code number that you'll need for your verification photo, plus tips on how to make sure your application succeeds. You'll have two weeks to upload photos and complete your application, after which we'll assume you're no longer interested in proceeding, and you'll have to start again.
