Gentlemen: Portland's gay Leather and BDSM scene just got classier! Now there is a welcoming community of Leathermen where you can network, socialize, learn and interact with others who appreciate what Leather means to those who value Old Guard traditions, standards, and principles.

We seek others who respect and celebrate the Old Guard ways, are highly skilled or eager to learn, and are committed to passing our traditions, values, and way of life on to present and future generations.

Bridgetown Leathermen is a fraternal organization dedicated to mentoring, developing, and passing on the skill sets of safe, sane and consensual BDSM, in an environment of mature and classic practitioners from our Leather Community. Men of all ages (over 21) and experience are encouraged to contact us in person or through our website (www.bridgetownleathermen.org).

Why Join Bridgetown Leathermen?
First, Bridgetown Leathermen is a great network of men who take their time in the dungeon seriously, but still have a great time. Second, we foster the spirit of cooperation and mentorship for one another. Third, we take the screening process seriously. Although we are warm and welcoming, we want to ensure that our ranks are filled with the best of the best -- men with impeccable character, solid skills, and who are willing to go above and beyond the call of duty. Finally, Bridgetown Leathermen is fun! We hope you'll join us, either as a member or as a guest.
What are the dues?
Annual dues are $50 per calendar year for Regional Members, $25 per calendar year for men outside of the region. A "Regional Member" is a member who live within 200 miles of the intersection of I-5 and the Columbia River. Annual dues are to be paid on or before January 1 of each year.
What is the cost for dungeon parties?
Admission to dungeon parties is $10 per person. Only members and their guests are allowed at dungeon parties. Any guests must be sponsored by a Bridgetown Leathermen member in good standing.
How are dues and other monies used?
Starting a group such as Bridgetown requires an investment of time and money. When we begin collecting dues in January 2014, the funds, along with the admission for dungeon parties and other events will be used for things such as the following:
Start-up costsDungeon rentalFood for dungeon partiesAdvertising costsClub colors (patches) for members paying 2014 dues (and beyond)Administrative and printing costsDeposits for major events such as the planned weekend run in July 2014Run pinsCharitable contributionsBuilding reserves for future events
