Welcome to the home of BLUF, the Breeches and Leather Uniform Fan Club. BLUF is a club for men who enjoy wearing breeches and leather uniforms. Founded in 1997, there are now over 4,000 members worldwide, and many of them meet in person at BLUF events.
On the BLUF menu, you can find out more about the club. The Community menu has our calendar of events and blog, while on the Info menu you can find many useful resources, including other clubs, vendors and venues around the world.
BLUF is one of the world's biggest communities for men into leather uniforms, with members in dozens of countries and around 100 events every year. Joining BLUF gives you access to our whole site, where you can meet other guys seriously into leather, create a profile, and become part of our community. We maintain a strict dresscode, which you can read about here.
Joining BLUF is free and open to men who meet our dresscode requirements. The site is run by volunteers, and owned by BLUF Ltd, a not-for-profit company based in the UK.

BLUF Montréal has just completed three events as part of Montréal Pride : its 8th anniversary with nearly 30 leather guys, its presence at the Community Day and an interest in potential new members and its participation at the Parade with sponsors, partners and community organizations with more than 17 000 walkers. BLUF Montréal participait aux événements de Fierté Montréal qui se déroulait du 1er au 11 août dernier. Lors du 8ième anniversaire, BLUF Montréal recevait des visiteurs de Vancouver, Grande Prairie, Toronto et Boston. Une trentaine de gars de cuir étaient présents à l'événement. Encore cette année, BLUF Montréal était présent à la Journée communautaire avec son kiosque. On note un intérêt de plus en plus marqué de la population envers BLUF. BLUF Montréal participait au Défilé de la Fierté en présence de 17 000 marcheurs. Des remerciements à leatherbear (630) et Emir Horacio Alvarez pour les photos. On vous attend l'année prochaine.
BLUF Montréal participated in the Montréal Pride event which took place from August 1 to 11. During the 8th Anniversary, BLUF Montréal received visitors from Vancouver, Grande Prairie, Toronto and Boston. Around 30 leather guys were present at the event. Once again this year, BLUF Montréal was present at the Commnity Day. We note and increasingly marked interest from the population in BLUF. BLUF Montréal attended the Pride Parade with 17 000 walkers. BLUF joined Twitter fifteen years ago, on 26th November 2009. Since then, we've made over 40,000 posts, numerous replies and direct messages, and we also operated an automated feed with information about BLUF events.
All of that is over; much of it is deleted. All those tweets will be lost in time, like tears in the rain.
For much of the last fifteen years, Twitter was the social network with the broadest reach, where we could have conversations, and share information and, though it wasn't perfect, there were reasonable tools allowing people to filter their conversations and protect themselves. And it also offered a free API that we could use to provide things like our automated events feed.
Free API access, at least of the sort we used, went away a couple of years ago, not that long after the Musk acquisition, and it didn't seem worth it to pay for the ability to redo all our coding, when it was clear that other sites, in particular Instagram, were rapidly becoming more popular with our members.
And, in the last several years, the tone has changed; the boldness of those who wish to attack the LGBT community
…BLUF's website isn't just for our members. You'll find plenty of information available to non-members too, including our listings of leather and fetish vendors, leather venues, and local leather clubs, around the world.
The BLUF events calendar features events worldwide, organised by a wide range of clubs and other groups, and as well as BLUF topics, our blog often includes posts of general interest to the leather community.
Members of BLUF also have access to our online magazine, which includes reports from BLUF events, exclusive photo galleries, and even short stories written by other members. The member forum provides places to share tips or ask for help on a range of topics, incuding For Sale and Wanted sections, travel advice and more.
On your BLUF profile, you can even let people know if you have a guest room, or can show them round your city, and our sophisticated search tools can help you find a bed in a city, or even someone who's into the same things as you, with a playroom, who rides a bike and speaks German.
We're committed to keeping BLUF membership free, with all members getting all the functions of the site. BLUF is funded by donations and sales of BLUF merchandise. Members who donate to BLUF qualify for the BLUF card, which gives discounts at a range of vendors, including Boxer, Clone Zone, Fetish Freak, Mister B and Regulation.
